Part 1 Blessings and Hope: Who is in your circle?
Proverbs 18:24
The Message (MSG)
Friends come and friends go
but a true friend sticks by you like family.
Do you have a friend that you've had since kindergarten? Middle school, high school, or college? What about friends of friends or the parents of your children's friends? Friends from church or work? Or "friends" from social media?
Social media and television have taken the word friend and turned it into something it's NOT. Do you Agree? As a child, I was always outgoing and never really had a problem being friendly. This has carried over into my adult life. So, not much has changed there. But what really has changed; for me, is what I consider a friend to be.
After I rediscovered the love of Christ and found out what my spiritual gifts were; to listen and to encourage. I found out quickly what it means to be a real friend. Between 1994 and 1998. I had a major set back-a failed marriage and material loss. When there was no more money to lend, designer hand-me-ups to give away, and no more free dinners; my circle began to shrink. From dozens to a hand full.
Now that I'm on a different path, my circle is small and tight. Not because I've turned into what many call "self righteous or stuck up"; but because God has saved me and I refuse to be bound by religious people and their opinions.
Who is in your circle? Do they bless you and give you hope? Are you uplifted after you talk to them? Are the people that you consider to be friends honest with you? Can you be honest with them? Can they be trusted to not tell their BFF all of your business? Think about it...
Is there anything I can agree with you in prayer about today?

Supplications, Prayers, Intercessions and Thanksgiving
2 I exhort therefore, first of all, that supplications, prayers, intercessions, thanksgivings, be made for all men;
2 for kings and all that are in high place; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and gravity.3 This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;
I recently went to a Joyce Meyer Ministries Women's Conference in Saint Louis, MO. I had a great time and the services were very refreshing. The conference began on Thursday and concluded on that following Saturday. I was blessed and refreshed. There must have been close to 20,000 women there. Joyce and her guest brought genuine praise and worship to all of these hungry women. What stood out to me the most was their sincerity and "realness". I've been around church folks all of my life and was raised in a sanctified home with relaxed Baptist on one side and no nonsense Pentecostals on the other side. Needless to say, I know church folks from every angle. So I know the difference between worship and entertainment.
One of the greatest displays there was the prayer wall. I tried to read and touch each prayer that I could reach. I even took a several with me. The need is so great. I've always heard that women can tough the hand of God. I feel myself getting emotional as I recap the conference. Mothers praying for wayward and sick children...Mothers trying to take care of babies born with severe imperfections...Grandmothers raising abandoned grandchildren...Wives dealing with abuse...Single women being approached by other women...Women trying to wait on God for a saved spouse. The notes were detailed and filled with hurt, disappointment, and dispare.
The need is so great. BUT GOD is still here and he loves us. There is a way through the madness.
Another great display was a walk through exhibit. That exhibit was
filled with lies that we tell ourselves; lies that come from the enemy. I
was brought to tears because, many of them described how I felt about
myself. But guess what, I was not alone. Many of my sisters feel the
same way. Everyday we must tell ourselves that God loves us and that we
can take our cares to him in prayer and have faith in Him. Faith in him
alone; not in the government or other people. God does love us.
As an exerciser of faith, we were given a card on which we were to write down all of the negative things we say about ourselves and throw it away. There was/is great significance in that. All of that is garbage, so why keep it in our minds and torment ourselves with it? They are all lies. If they are not lies, God can help and soon they will be things of the past.
The entire center was decorated with picture frames with messages from a loving Father. He loves you and he loves me too.
I could go on and on; but until you seek Him for yourself and allow him to love you with his word; you will not benefit from his love and care. Bad things happen...yes ma'am they do. Sin happens...yes ma'am it will. Family and friends will forsake you...Yes they will. But God is always here for you and he is just a prayer away.
Is there anything I can pray about with you? Feel free to email me.

FAITH: A Violent Force
I wanted to share this with you today…
Faith is the only force that will change natural things or
natural circumstances. It is the only force that can apply itself to the
natural realm to change or move a mountain. –“PRESSING IN: It’s Worth It All”

We have a goal of donating 1 scrapbook a month to the Middle Tennessee Make a Wish Foundation. The sister of RSC-DPS Nashville are busy, busy, busy cutting and assembling die cuts, boarders, and tags. Trust me, layers are more difficult and time consuming than we first anticipated.

Sharing Your Talents
Sharing Your Talent; Now...
I've been a Wish Granter with Make a Wish Foundation of Middle Tennessee for 5 years and have enjoyed every moment of the experience. I've gotten my family involved in the last 3 wishes. The entire process and the friendships made with the families are priceless.
December 2010, I had planned to make a scrapbook for PW and her family. I put it off and collected items for her book; but I never could find the time to put the book together for her. It was only going to be 20 pages; the number of pages in the standard scrapbook. Sadly, PW passed away during the spring of 2012. My heart is still heavy with regret; but I am still blessed with memory and strength.
Moving forward; Royal Scrap Club has committed to donating scrapbooks to the families of a seriously ill children whom have completed a wish through a select wish granting entity.
Below is the cover page for the DIVAS scrapbook of this journey. Please pray for us and support us with your crafting talent. If you are already supporting a similar organization; please continue. Lord knows we are all working toward the same goal; preserving the memory of a wish revealed and the wish granted.
We will have our first cut and assembly crop on March 16, 2013. During this crop will have our die cutting machines and assembly line ready to complete 100 die cuts.
